Working in groups, the students drew ideas from the \u201cMind the STEM Gap\u201d Manifesto in which Fondazione Bracco (the Bracco Foundation) articulates its support for increasing women\u2019s access to STEM subjects. The posters show stereotypes to be avoided, role models to be emulated, and good practices to be followed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 15&nbsp;September to 30&nbsp;November&nbsp;2023, &nbsp;the poster show will tour various schools in Lombardy. The first leg of the tour is the \u201cAlbe Steiner\u201d secondary school of Milan with its 1,100 students, staff and teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 4&nbsp;October&nbsp;2023, the exhibition will transfer to \u201cVigan\u00f2\u201d high school in Merate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Information on the next tour destinations will be made available soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, a social campaign is underway encouraging students to choose and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondazionebracco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2300913-3-Manifestoscuole-A4-3.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\" travel with their favourite poster\u201d<\/a> with a view to sparking conversation around this important issue and promoting the exhibition\u2019s messages online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The full exhibition, set up on the premises of Centro Diagnostico Italiano (CDI), remains open and free to the public until 29&nbsp;October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is also possible to visit the digital version of the exhibition here (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.einsteinvimercate.edu.it\/blog\/mind-the-stem-gap-together\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.einsteinvimercate.edu.it\/blog\/mind-the-stem-gap-together\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMind the STEM Gap - Together\u201d is the brainchild of the Bracco Foundation, which runs the educational and cultural project in concert with Politecnico di Milano and Fondazione Politecnico di Milano with the support of the Region of Lombardy through the \u201cTogether\u201d call for projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>#MindtheSTEMGapTogether #GenerazioneLombardia #MindtheSTEMGap<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The \u201cMind the STEM Gap - Together\u201d show offers a gallery of eclectic, provocative, colourful and original posters on the theme of gender equality in the sciences.&nbsp; The authors of the works are 150 students from high schools in Lombardy.
